The Contact Solicitors website has undergone a cosmetic change with a new homepage having been designed to make it easier for visitors to the site to search for the solicitor firms that are listed on it. The purpose of the new design is that the search function comes to the fore and is now given much more prominence, resulting in more searches taking place. There are now over 900 firms listed on the site, all of which can be accessed from the Types page and also the Maps page. A complex database query was slowing down the speed at which the Types page was being loaded and dividing the query into 3 parts has meant that the page now loads in 3 seconds rather than in 43 seconds! We are also now displaying the latest tweets from the @sixsoft twitter account. New tweets are displayed on the site as they are written.
Over the past few weeks the listings pages have been updated to include solicitors from counties all over the United Kingdom. Firms have been added for Cheshire, Devon and Dorset, so please feel free to take a look.
